During my time as President of Leo Club of Rourkela (Youth Chapter, Lions International), I led an 80 member Community Service team managing 20+ projects for the benefit of the under-privileged in and around Rourkela. Among other efforts, I conceptualized an annual cultural Diwali program at an old-age home called Shanti Bhawan.

I believe that music is one of the simplest yet strongest ways for individuals around the world to build bridges for peace and make a positive social change. In a past life, I studied Piano performance and played music for disadvantaged communities in Kolkata.
